Three years ago today I lost one of the most important people in my life. My dad fought colon cancer, multiple myeloma and colon cancer metastasis for over four years before his body couldn't take any more. I miss my Dad so much, we think about him all of the time. I know that he is with Jesus and looking down at us every day but I still miss him so much. I hate that his youngest grandchild never got to meet him, he would have been so in love with her! Say a prayer for my mom Nancy today, I know this is an awful day for her today as well. My parents met in kindergarten and my dad asked my mom to marry him when they were in the third grade! How cute is that??? I love and miss you Dad!

What a handsome man! I love that they met in kindergarten and that he asked her to marry him in 3rd grade! That is so sweet! I guess he knew early in life what he wanted!

Oh, I will say a prayer for your mom, and you too of course. What sweethearts, I think that is so special to know each other since they were children and to marry.

I'm so sorry that your Dad isn't with you anymore. He sounds like such a sweet man.
My father passed away 6 years ago and like you I miss him a lot. He never got to meet my boys and oh how I wish he could have!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your father...and this just hits so close to home for me right now, as I face the very real possibility of losing my father much sooner than I ever thought I would, I'm just not ready.
My prayers are with your family as you remember your father; how sweet that they met in Kindergarten!
