Addy is finally feeling better! She is still having runny diaper issues but that's to be expected. Now if we could only find the miracle diaper ointment to clear up her red bottom! She is getting down on the floor and playing some now, she was just sitting on the couch and would watch tv. Well, she would watch Chipmunks anyway!
I woke up Thursday morning feeling a little yucky but not too bad. I worked all day and was feeling okay that night. Friday morning was an entirely different story! I was SICK! I was a little concerned that I had picked up Addy's C-Diff. I was sick all day yesterday too so I'm thinking it was just a bug. I am much better this morning!
I think I feel well enough to shopping with my mom in a little while too. She and I are heading out on May 20th to Charleston, SC!! We are really excited! It's just the two of us going! I have never left Addy for this length of time since we've had her! The kids are pretty bummed that they aren't going because our hotel is right on the beach. That's what we wanted, a little getaway on a beach with no plans, no worries! My mom and I are both having surgery this summer so we thought a perfect little vacation to relax and unwind would be perfect. I have been pretty stressed out lately, this year has been tough! Just a few things: Jarika is a Senior, enough said there!, Jarika broke her elbow, Jarika had ankle surgery, my Mom had her back surgery, Jake broke his arm, I'm facing surgery, mom's facing another surgery, boys have had strep repeatedly, Jarika is graduating!, and work this time of year is nuts! I think I deserve a little break and fortunately so did my mom!

Glad the lil cutie is feeling better. I'm a bit behind reading this but if she still has a red bum my ped recomends old school. Mix regular old vasaline with maylox. Just don't get the mint flavor! The maylox helps with the inflamed red and the vasaline is the perfect moisture barrier.
The picture on the post above is hysterical. I don't think I'll ever get used the flexibility. Occasionally I'll look in the rearview mirror and Riley has the soles of his shoes flat on his ear.
