Yep, Addy has C-Diff! She hasn't been on antibiotics since January so who knows how she got it! The doc thinks it may be a constant case and she may need maintenance dose of Flagyl daily, we'll see. They will re-test her after the 10 days.
Uhg, I am so sorry you have to deal with Cdiff, I know a few people who have had it and I know it's difficult to deal with. I hope she gets better soon and responds well to the medicines.
i did not know what c diff is, so i just googled it - i am so sorry to hear that addy has c diff. i hope she can get her good bacteria going again as soon as possible. is she able to have probiotics, kefir, yogurt, etc... to help with this??? does she have to have any medicine? i really really hope she feels better soon!
