Tonight we sent Jarika off to her final prom. She went with girlfriends this time which means she will have much more fun!
Addy isn't doing so hot. She's thrown up twice today and her fever hasn't been under 99 since this all started on Thursday. She is beginning to look a little dehydrated so I am trying to push more Pedialyte, which unfortunately is coming back up. I'm pretty sure she has Rotavirus. This is nasty stuff. She's had it a few other time and we end up admitted. I'm hoping that's not the case this time, please pray she can fight this at home!

We battled Rotavirus as well and did the admission and 7 day stay. I really HOPE you can keep her home and that she's feeling much better soon!! (These are the kinds of situations when I love the g-tube...so much easier to keep the fluids in.)

Jarika is beautiful!! We did rotavirus a month ago. All I can say is YUCK. It's such a nasty virus. Hope you can battle it at home. Just push little sips of liquid every couple of minutes and pray they stay down. We used an anti-nausau liquid because Sam couldn't keep anything down. That seemed to do the trick and kept us out of the hospital. Hang in there!
Oh rotavirus is such a pain in the butt! Hopefully you can keep enough pedialyte in her to avoid the hospital!
Jarika looks BEAUTIFUL!! I agree, much more fun to go with friends. Who wants to go with some "date" and be uncomfortable all night. I am sorry that Addy is still not doing well. Thankfully you at least know what is probably going on and your are experienced with it so will be able to know what signs to watch for.
