Addy is doing amazingly well with her feeding therapy!!! We didn't have it last week due to Christmas Break and she was sound asleep before we went in so I wasn't sure how she'd do. She is doing great at home! She is taking about 20 bites for me each feeding. She ate over a half a jar of sweet potatoes! She was also presented a cup, which was not a success. So, she took juice off of the spoon and did great! She had no choking or gagging at all! I took a couple of pix today with my little point and shoot, man I miss my camera!!! Hopefully I'll have it back in a couple of weeks!

Our next step for Addy is to increase the volume she is taking in by mouth. Beginning in February we will probably start her on Stage 3 foods. Just the fruits and veggies, not the meals yet, too chunky. I am so hopeful that we will be eating full jars of Stage 2 foods in the next month of so!
Little Miss has been perfecting her standing skills as well! Let's just say we are loving this burst in development we are seeing lately!!

That is GRRRRRRREAT! She's progressing really well! Our feeding therapist tells me ALL the time how slow feeding changes are, but look at that girl go. :o)
Question for you... how much is she taking each day right now...liquid via tube and oral puree?? Curious, ya know.
What can I say? Bursts in development are my favorite too!
She's doing so well!

Way to go Miss Addy.I cannot believe how great she is doing with the feeding.I mean really Cammie,so,so great! And look at that mouth AROUND the spoon ... in our house,we have open lock jaw going ... I swear it takes more work for the child to keep her mouth open, than it would to have her just close and swallow.I know that feeding therapy is slow but my child is on the ULTRA SLOW program ... seriously!
She is taking of your little angel .. literally taking of!
Oh man, she is doing so great! Arina has always been a champ with eating, I'm a little worried about getting off the bottle though. She loves that!!
Yeah Addy!
Yay, Addy! She is growing up so much, in every way.
Addy girl - look at you! I am so impressed!!!
