She watches so intently!
What a cool day! When we had Addy's IEP on Friday the two paraprofessionals that are in her classroom we wanting to know the signs that Addy knows. Her ST laughed and said there's really no way to count them all but I have a list of at least 50. I know I lost count at 200 signs that she understands and uses. I started signing with Addy the first day I met her (8/4/07) and immediately began playing Baby Signing Time DVDs. I got an email the other day and they now are offering a bundle specifically for kiddos with DS click here to get straight to the link. I cannot say enough good things about Rachel Coleman and Signing Time. Addy has learned the majority of her signs through watching these DVDs! Yes, Scott and I sign to Addy all of them time and expect her to communicate with using sign and verbal communication. Addy will definitely be getting more DVDs for her birthday next, just have to decide which ones!

We love signing time at our house too. M signs baby whenever she wants to watch her show. If we didn't already have a large array of these videos, I would consider investing that package bundle geared towards DS.
Alayna loves Signing time too. Thankfully our library has them all in stock so we can check them out anytime.

That lady is just as sweet as she seems. It was AWESOME. I was more excited to meet her than I was to meet John C McGinley last year. (sorry John!)
When Beth was born, she began learning signs but there was a huge controversy about doing it. Many people thought that if the kids learned sign language, they wouldn't talk. There would be no reason for them to talk.
I found Beth used a few signs but when she began learning words, she prefered speech and she signed became less and less.
I would have used ANYTHING if it meant I could communicate with my daughter!
I was just saying to Mark that we need to buy Zoey more Signing time video's.I think we will go for the bundle!Love to you from all of us.
We tried them a few times with my girls, they are not that interested, I think I will try again, KAra is having breakthroughs lately with verbal sounds and signs.

Bella is getting 7 DVDs for Christmas! Already got them for her. We love Signing TIme!
