Oh my. Tell me about it!!! Braska loves to pick up Kinlee's cup (straw cup) and put the straw in her mouth. It breaks my heart lately that she tries, she gets the idea of what's supposed to happen, but she doesn't know how to do it. I just wish I could flip a switch and let her just wake up with the skill to do it. It's not bothered me all these years til just recently...
But get this...this morning she took a cheerio and put it in her mouth, actually crunched it, and managed to swallow it! All on her own! I about flipped, and I'm bummed that I didn't get to see it. Grandma was with her.
They'll get there... we're gonna meet someday at McD's and these girls of ours will share some fries and slurp their sodas. :o)
In fact,I said,just moments ago,that as much as I am a therapy slacking mom,I would seriously go to an intense,far away,week long ,hard core "clinic type place",just to get that feeding back.
