I took Addy to the ped this morning. She hasn't been sleeping very well at all so I figured she has an ear infection. She also has this lovely rash on her neck. The lighting is not good in these pix, the rash is dark red. I figured that was heat, it's been awful around here! Well I was right on count one, she indeed has an ear infection. As the rash goes, who knows. The doc doesn't think it's heat because of where it's located (just on the back of her neck) and the way it looks. So she's on two OTC meds for it and amoxicillan for the ear. Hoping it works, I didn't want to put her on anything stronger since it messes her belly up so much!

It does kind of look like heat. Addy and her dang ear infections!!

That rash looks ever so familiar, our kids have very sensitive skin so it could be anything really. Saira keeps getting red rashes on and off it's mostly to do with the heat I feel. Normally just subsides on it's own.
