St. Louis Trip/Lotsopix

We are all so worn out! We had such a fun little escape to St. Louis. We left Friday morning and did a little geocaching on the way. (Scott and Jake's ADDICTION!!!) It was nice though, we could get out of the van and move around a little, feed/change Addy and enjoy seeing new places. The Big Chicken in Doolittle, MO was too funny. Cooper was pretty excited to find this cache, Jake almost always beats him!

We got settled into our hotel then headed to Busch Stadium for the Cardinals/Brewers game. Cooper and the Junior Jays did a fantastic job with the National Anthem! We even got pics of Coop on the big screen! He said he even got to look Albert Pujols in the eye and he smiled! Made his night! Pujols is definitely a favorite around here! He is amazing and also adopted his wife's daughter who happens to have Down syndrome!! When Addy is a little older we plan on going to St. Louis for one of their Buddy Walks/Step Up for DS events! The Cards kicked booty and won so that was awesome! It was really hot and I was worried about how Addy would do, she doesn't handle heat well. But I kept some Pedialyte going and some extra water and she was okay! Yeah! Hopefully her abilty to regulate her temperature is improving!

They are amazing singers!

LOVE this guy! He is so amazing to watch!

Saturday we played in the pool before checkout then went to The Magic House.

It was so much fun! The kids LOVED it! Addy wasn't too fond of the music area and the random kids crying but overall she did pretty well.

I LOVE this picture! Cooper has never had too much to do with Addy. However, in the last month or so he has really started talking to her more and playing with her. I LOVE it! It was so cute watching him show her all of the letters!

At the top of Jack and the Beanstalk!

Addy just wanted to throw the chalk. Shocking!

Cooper loved raising the flag so it would blow in the wind!

Checking out all of the textures on the artwork!

Jake would have played with this thing much longer if we would have let him! He kept trying to catch the things that he stuck in these tubes before they blew out. He did it a couple of times!

Finding the stars! She still loves stars!

Addy's happiest place!!! Checking herself out in the room of mirrors! She kept singing Jack Hartmann's version of Humpty Dumpty and Wally Otcha, too cute!

All of the kids LOVED the bubble room, it was so fun!

Cooper and Jake!

What's that smell Coop?

Electro Static ball, Jake was thrilled his hair was long enough to stand up! He's trying to go for the Justin Bieber look (sigh...)

Yes this is an actual sand sculpture!!

Addy even met a little buddy with something a little extra too! Here she is with Colin. Too cute!

Overall it was a great little trip and I really enjoyed this time with my family. We don't get this too often! We missed Jarika though! :( She wouldn't really have had much fun anyway but we still missed her! She FINALLY got a job so she was working and taking care of my mom so that was nice.

Sorry we didn't get to connect... wish I'd have known you were coming in time to meet up with you guys!

And Braska's favorite places in the Magic House are the mirror areas and the letters with the slide up panels. She LOVES the letters. She walked up and down the wall and slid them up, said the letter and what was in there, and then slid it down . I was pretty proud! :o) I'd love to see BOTH of them hanging out by those letters next time!!!

Just wanted to apologize! Google kept telling me there was a problem with posting comments to Blogspot and taking me to a blank page, so I thought the comment never went through -sure didn't mean for it to go through multiple times!
