Poor Baby

When we got up yesterday morning Addy was running a little fever. Not a huge thing but still a fever. Not sure if it was pure exhaustion from the weekend or what. She perked up after Tylenol, but every four hours she was a cranky pot! Last night she was up for about 3 hours just whining and crying :( I took her to the pediatrician (the one on call, ours was out of the office today) this morning. My guess was an ear infection. Yep definitely have an infection in the right ear and she was unable to see the left due to all of the wax. Apparently the pounds we had pulled out earlier wasn't enough! She looked into Addy's mouth and went "Whoaa!". Hmm, that's not a good sign! She had me look into Addy's throat and it is covered in blisters! Nasty, huge, red blisters! She has a couple by her mouth and her neck. She was diagnosed with Hand/Foot/Mouth Disease. I hate this stuff! I had it about 15 years ago when Jarika had it and remember how painful it was! I was told to give her Popsicles and plenty of Motrin. That would be great if the little stink would eat a Popsicle! So no school for Addy Boo this week :( I took pix of the little tiny blisters by her mouth but they didn't really show up.

I think that's pretty good communication! (The reason for no glasses is that she just got up from her nap! We got them adjusted today, so hopefully they will stay on longer!)
