Jake's had this rash since Monday. It started on his wrist and then a couple days later we found it on his hip and leg. Two neighbor children have had a similar rash, one cleared up on her own and the other has had to be treated with steroids and antibiotics, it was not poison ivy. I'm thinking we may need to go to doc too, it's getting worse :(

Sorry, I'm no help with the rash.
But I got to meet your super cake-baking friend today. Annie. Very nice! :o)
Wow, that really looks like some plant induced rash. Looks so uncomfortable poor kid! Hope you get to the bottom of it.
Sure looks like contact dermatitis of some sort. Only where the shirt was? Wrists and neck? Is it itchy? No new laundry detergent? No bathing the dog in a new shampoo? No wool? Poor thing. I'd definitely do the doc visit if it's no better by Monday.
Good luck.

Yep,I would head in.not because it is anything serious, just to get a topical cream to help clear it and make him more comfortable.Certainly looks like some sort of dermatitis.
Hoping Addy is beginning to turn a corner.Hate when these little ones are sick.Zoey seems better.Still tired but better.
Love to you all.
Best to see a doctor. A friend of mine recently had a rash...not sure if it looked the same though. But her son and 2 daughters had it too. Turned out it was strep even if they didn't have a sore throat. Strange!
