Crayon Rocks

Parker sent Addy the cutest little rocks that are crayons! They are perfect for developing her pincher grasp. She detests fine motor activities when she knows what we want her to do, she was totally fooled! She LOVED coloring this afternoon! Thanks Parker (and Tammy!)

I collect the broken crayon pieces that I find for melting later. Maybe I should just melt them into rock shapes for this.

Oh how I wish Zoey had here little pincer grasp.Do you think it will ever come?Sigh.

I just received in the mail,Zoey's "Princess's Can Have Down syndrome Too"T-shirt.She is wearing it to our Buddy Walk on Sunday.I got one that says"My Princess has Down syndrome"

Wouldn't it be fabulous if one day we could get a picture of them together in theirs? Before they out grow them.Oh wait ... we are talking Addy and Zoey ... they missed the memo on growing!!!

I was wondering how those crayons would be. I thought they looked awesome. Kristen had those crayons that had a ball at the end and they worked well too.

Thats a great pincer grasp, so firm. This is a great way for them to do some fine motor exercises. I'm going to have a go with Saira.
