OT Practice
Addy is so smart. I know we all think our kids are smart and they definitely are, but she amazes me all of the time. Delene (Addy and Cooper's OT) left an empty cookie container and some stretchy worms at the house on Friday after Addy's OT session. I got them out on Saturday night and started stretching the worms for her and laughing and what not. Addy looked at me like I was an idiot, crawled over to the container and did this:

Wow! Good job Addy. Isn't it a wonderful feeling when our kids continue to amaze us with such actions? Love it!
As for your comment w/Carly and the school. Our speech teacher doesn't like sign. She says it does not help with speech development whatsoever. This lady was brought out of retirement to be the speech teacher at our school a few years ago. She retired from a local hospital where she worked with people who were trying to regain speech due to head injury/car accidents. I feel she is just set in 'her' way. I suppose that's okay for some, but not for Carly. It's just a sad situation.
Keep up the great work Addy. I look forward to seeing many more amazing moments to read about.
