Addy's 1st Trip to the Lake

Scott and I finally got to get to our lake house this weekend! Last year it rained so much that our dock was flooded until August so we only got to go down to take a peek last year. I went down a couple of weeks ago to clean the inside and my brother and sister-in-law have done tons to the outside. So we went down Friday night and came back today. It was a really nice weekend even though it rained almost the entire time and Jarika had to work this weekend! We did get a little water time in on Sunday morning for just a bit. The temperature was only about 69 degrees and the water was about 62! Too cold for me! Definitely not too cold for Avery though! He and Scott got the Waverunner going and took off. We cleaned out the boat but didn't take it out, we will next time when it's warmer. Addy loved watching the boats and when the waves came and rocked the swimming dock. I wasn't about to put her in her swimsuit just yet, it was cold! I only took short outfits because it was supposed to be in the 70s and low 80s! I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend and got to spend time with their families. I pray for all of our service men and women and all who have lost their lives fighting for our freedom. There is no way to ever thank them and their families.
