This is the day to day life of our family. God has blessed Scott and I with three beautiful biological children and our youngest through the miracle of adoption. Our family includes the wonder of Autism with our son Cooper's Asperger's syndrome and the blessing of an extra chromosome with Addysen's Down syndrome.I am a speech/language pathologist who works in our local school system. I serve the kids after they leave First Steps at the age of 3 and keep them until kindergarten. I love my job and it definitely played a role in our decision to adopt Addy! Thank you God for opening my eyes to your plan!
"Whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me." (Matthew 18:5)
"Do not be afraid, for I am with you. I will bring your children from the East and gather you from the West. I will say to the north, "Give them up!" and to the south, "Do not hold them back." Bring my sons from afar and my daughters from the ends of the earth- everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made."Isaiah 43:5-7
I am married to Scott and we have four awesome kids! Our daughters are 17 and 2. Our two year old was adopted and she has Down syndrome. Our sons are 10 and 8. Our ten year old has Asperger's syndrome. He is a hoot! I love spending time with my family and friends.
